Bridge and implement research results from WP1 and WP2 into practical demonstrators using the framework in design processes, training, system maintenance and life cycle service. Strong industry involvement.
Provide necessary industrial background and needs for research relevance.
Ensure academic results can be utilized in practical design processes.
Test usability and effectiveness of model architecture from WP1+WP2.
Transform results to industry applications including documentation.
Case A: Thruster / driven system update and verification for an offshore vessel.
Case B: Independent verification of control system (DP) in digital twins environment.
Postdoc Topic 3: Digital Twins for Design, Testing and Verification — validation of simulated behaviour, collaboration platform for commissioning, remote automatic plugin verification.
Software demonstrators, case studies, model libraries, documentation. All demos at Offshore Simulation Centre dome and Remote Control Lab at NMK II. Budget: 12,233 kNOK.
